Coast and Harbor is providing project administration support and CADD/GIS/data mapping support to the Planning and Real Property Branch at the Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Providence in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Project Highlights
Coast and Harbor is supporting a collection of projects and activities that will enable Coast Guard designers, planners, and construction managers to serve Coast Guard District One units and missions more effectively. CHA services include:
- Verification of the Coast Guard’s real property portfolio
- Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of site-specific information for Coast Guard owned, leased, and licensed facilities including all necessary drawings, site plans, and costs estimates and updating of master drawings to conform to the National CAD Standard Guide
- Maintenance and updating of the engineering document management system (Synergis Adept) and support for GIS and data integration solutions
- Acquisition and digitizing of maps and remotely sensed spatial data and data layer and physical map production
